ストリートフォトの始め方第2回。今回は、ストリートフォトグラフィーのスタイルをいくつか紹介していきます。

ストリートフォトグラフィーにおいて基本となるスタイルです。ストリートフォトグラフィーは、街中で出会う光景や瞬間を捉えた写真のジャンルとされています。そこにはフィクションでないリアルなシーンが収められています。時にハッピーだったり悲しみであったり怒りであったりと様々な感情を示す人の表情やアクションが写り込み、写真にストーリーという深みを与えています。
Documentary style is a basic and fundamental style of street photography. Street photography is usually understood as a genre of photography that captures the scenes and moments that photograoher encounter in the city. this style's photography contains a realistic scene that is not fiction. Sometimes the expressions and actions of people who show various emotions, such as being happy, sad, and angry, are reflected in the images, and they
emphasize the the photo's representation.

Humor style, which Captures Interesting and Funny Things In Daily Life
毎日が平凡だと、あなたは思いますか？それなら街に出てみましょう。おかしな事やビックリする光景が潜んでいます。そんな「まさか！？」や「嘘だろ！？」「オモシロイ！」と思えることも日常の一部として私たちの周りで起こっているのです。アメリカの写真家エリオット・アーウィットがこのアプローチの写真家として有名です。実際そういうシーンには、そう簡単には出合わないんですけどね。でも僕は、その瞬間にで会うべく街を歩き続けていますが。
If you feel be bored in your life, why don't you just go outside and walk around the city? You will be able to find or encounter interesting moments and things like you feel
「Really ?」or 「That is amazing!! 」American photographer, Elliott Erwitt is well known that he use this technique. interesting moments marley appear, so you need to be patient until the photo opportunity appears in front of you. I also understand that it is tough to capture, but I continue walking around the city to find attractive moments and things.

Light & Shadow Style, which Makes Everyday
Life Look Dramatic
「フォトグラフ」とは「光で描かれたもの」という意味。目の前のシーンをまさに写真の原点である光と影を駆使して、印象的な写真に定着させるスタイル。とてもドラマティックかつ印象的。時に美しく、時に示唆的。光と影が構築する光景は、グラフィック的でもあり、僕の好きなスタイルです。
The word, " Photography " means the things that are drawn by light. Light and shadow style is one of photography styles that capture the moments using mainly impressive light and shadow, that are the origin of photography. This style's photography is very stylish, dramatic and impressive. Sometimes photos are just beautiful or abstract. The scene constructed by light and shadow feels graphical and this style is my favorite style.
色という表現を手にした、カラースタイル。
Color Style, which Captures the Beauty of Color
クラシックなモノクロームではなく、よりリアルによりグラフィカルに切りとるスタイル。カラー写真は、より現代的で、まさに今を切りとっている感じが出ます。モノクロームが、光や影を捉えたり、タイムレスなシーンを切り取るのに適しているように、カラーは、ライブ感ある今を捉えたり、モノクロにはない色を使った新しい表現ができます。かつてアメリカでニューカラー世代と言われた写真家たちによる新しい写真表現が生まれました。カラーフィルムが生まれ、カラーで作品を撮る写真家が出てきたのです。それらの写真は、大胆に色を撮り入れ、とてもグラフィカルなものでした。ストリートフォトグラファーでもカラーで撮る人たちが現れ始めました。それらの写真はとても現代的でまさにその時代のその時を写真に閉じ込めています。その後さらに進化し、レイヤーを駆使した表現や、色と影を駆使してより鮮やかに街と人を切り取ったりと進化し続けています。
Instead of the classic monochrome, color style is seen as more capturing moments realistically and graphically. Also color photography is more modern and feels like cutting out right now.
Just as monochrome is good at capturing light and shadow, and cutting out timeless scenes, color photos usually captures the present with a feeling of liveness, and new expressions using colors not found in monochrome. A new photographic expression was born by photographers who were once said to be the New Color generation in the United States.
At that time, color film was born, and photographers came out to shoot their works in color. Color photos at that time were very graphical with bold colors. Then many street photographers started to use color. After that, the color photo technique developed and many photographers started to use color filters or sme layers to capture the city more vividly.
ざっくりとですが、ストリートフォトグラフィーの代表的なスタイルを紹介してきました。それぞれのスタイルには、撮影者の意図が大いに含まれています。それぞれのスタイルの中にも、写真家の数だけさらにスタイルがあります。アプローチと言ったらイイのでしょうか。なので、これらのスタイルに自分を当て込む必要はありません。参考程度に知っておくぐらいで良いかと思います。スタイルにこだわるのではなく、自分が撮り続ける中で、自分の撮り方や表現を見つけていく方が大切だと思います。撮らなければ何も生まれないので。僕もいろいろチャレンジしていこうと思っています。
This time, I have introduced the typical styles of street photography. Each style has a lot to do with the photographer's intent. Within each style, there are as many styles as there are photographers. So you don't have to completely follow these styles. I think it's better to know these styles for reference only. It is more important to find your own way of shooting and expressions as you continue shooting, rather than seeking or sticking to these style.
If you don't shoot, nothing will be born. I also want to try various things to grow my expressional skills.
