Leica Q
私が使っているメインカメラはライカQ（typ116）です。
実は、私はまだカメラの知識もほとんどないまま、完全に勢いでこのカメラを買いました。
「ライカはカメラの最高峰」とは聞いたことがあったものの、その値段の高さから、当初は全く選択肢に入っていませんでした。
ところがある日、たまたまライカストアの前を通りかかった際、ライカのカメラが何台か試写用にディスプレイされているのを見て、
「触るだけならタダ」と軽い気持ちで手に取ってみたのが、このライカQでした。
そして試しにシャッターを押した瞬間、「これしかない！」という電流のような感覚が走り、最終的に「本気で写真をやるなら言い訳できないカメラを買おう」と自分を納得させ、清水の舞台から飛び降りる気持ちで買ってしまったのです。
ただ、実際に使い始めてから今まで、この時の勢いを一度も後悔したことはありません。
ライカQって良いの？と聞かれることも多いので、今日はこのカメラについて思うところを書いてみます。
My main camera is the Leica Q (typ 116).
Actually, I bought this camera with nothing knowledge of the camera.
I have heard that Leica is the most popular and expensive bland in camera industry, so I had no choice to get Leica cameras at that time. However, when I passed a Leica store and looked at som Leica cameras that were displayed on display windows, I felt like it does not cost anything to just try shooting in the store. Therefore, I entered the store and picked Leica Q to try.
Then when I tried to press the shutter button, I got a sense that I must get it, and bought it even though it was too expensive for me.
I have never regretted the moment when I have decided to get Leica Q in the store.
I am usually asked like Leica Q is really good camera or not, so I am going to about what I think about this camera today.
なんといっても操作性が抜群に良い
Leica Q Has a Excellent Operability
まず、フルサイズとは思えないくらい軽いです。（他に私が持っているAPSC機よりも軽い）
そして、ダイヤルやボタンは必要最小限に抑えられており、迷うこともなく、とても操作がしやすいです。
更に、レンズに距離指標のダイヤルが付いている点が個人的に大きなポイントです。
街中での撮影中は基本的にマニュアルフォーカスで距離2mに設定して撮影しているのですが、
被写体が近くや遠くに突然現れたときに、素早くダイヤルを回して微調整することができます。
これにより、素早くフォーカスを合わせることができ、ピントを大きく外すということもなくなります。
（急に現れた被写体を急いで撮る際には、むしろオートフォーカスの方がピントを外すことが多い気がします。）
First of all, Leica Q is really light even though it has full size sensor.
Also the dials and other buttons have been designed minimally, and they are easy to operate without hesitation. Moreover, the lens has a distance dial so that when I shoot in the city and suddenly attractive subjects appear near or far to me, I can easily and quickly adjust the distance using the dial.
I basically set the distance to 2m with manual focus and shoot, but it is really good point that the lens has a distance dial. Because of that, I do not usually get photos that have out of focus.
シャッター音が絶妙
Leica Q Has a Good Shutter Sound
正直、買う決め手となった要因としてこのシャッター音もかなり大きいです。
「カシャッ」というよりは「カタン」というなんとも言えない音がします。
また、自分にしか聞こえない程度のわずかな音なので、周りの人に気づかれることもありません。
完全に無音だと、シャッターを押した感覚もなくなってしまうのですが、わずかなシャッター音がすることにより、
「撮った」という感触がちゃんと感じられます。
地味ですが、このシャッター音が、撮影時に自分のリズムを作ってくれている気がします。
The shutter sound is also a big factor that made me decide to buy Leica Q. I think the sound is very unique and the sounds makes users shoot a lot.
Also, the sound is so small like only you can hear it, so people around you do not notice you are shooting in the city.
If the sound is completely silent, there will be no feeling or satisfuction of pressing the shutter button, but due to a slight shutter sound, you can feel the feeling that you are shooting. For me, The shutter sound is very important to make a rhythm of shooting.
気分も上がる
Leica Q Makes Me Motivate Shooting
もう、単純に格好良く、ライカを持って街に出るだけで気分が上がります。
そして、往年のレジェンド達も使ってきたライカで撮っているということに身が引き締まる思いがし、「もっと良い写真を撮りたい」「少しでもレジェンド達に近付きたい」という意欲が湧いてきます。
細かい点を言えば、ISOがダイヤルではなくボタン操作であったり、防塵防滴ではないといった気になる点もありますが、そんなことはどうでも良くなるほど、素晴らしいカメラだと思います。
今や私の生活になくてはならない相棒です。

It's simply cool, and Leica Q makes me fun to walk on the street.
And I feel that I am taking a picture with Leica that the legends of the past years have also used, and Leica Q provide me enthusiasm of shooting street snaps like I want to take better pictures and get closer to the past legends.
I have few things I would like to mention about Leica Q. ISO is not a dial operation and a button operation, and it does not have dustproof and waterproof functions.
They would be negative points to purchase, but I think Leica Q is a wonderful camera so that it is not big deal.
Right now, I can not live without Leica Q, and I am so happy to have it.
I highly recommend to get Leica Q if you are looking for good camera.
