Description
Connecting photographs taken around the world—both visually and conceptually—has become the foundation of my long-term project, Mi huida al mundo (My Escape into the World). For me, photography is a way of reconnecting with the world and with myself. Through both the creative process and the paths it opens, it has become a practice that heals my soul.
WONDERING emerged from one of those moments. While framing another scene, I suddenly found the gaze of a woman looking directly back at me. For a brief second, she seemed to ask, “Why?”—the very same question I found myself asking.
