Biography

Born and raised in Beijing, he is a street photographer who has spent the past three years exploring the city with his camera, documenting its residents and everyday street life. Through street photography, he seeks to reveal a diverse and contemporary Beijing to the outside world.
His work moves beyond familiar landmark stereotypes, such as the Forbidden City often featured in travel guides, as well as the historic portrayals of Beijing created by Magnum photographers and Japanese documentary photographers during the 1970s and 1980s. Instead, he focuses on a modern Beijing where profound history and rapid urban development coexist, offering a fresh and unconventional perspective on his hometown.
