Description
I was walking through Tokyo when I noticed a small crowd gathered around something. As I got closer, I saw a young woman casually interacting with two crows. I see crows almost every day in Tokyo, but this was something I had never imagined.
I found the scene unsettling, yet strangely fascinating. While most people, myself included, instinctively keep their distance, she approached the birds with complete ease. That brief contrast in the way we experience the same city is what made me stop and take this photograph.
